Bordwell and tompson

There are 4 main methods to make a music video intresting for the audience and tompson and Bordwell came up with the following methods:

Graphic :
This is based on Mise-en-scene and cinematography of the music video. with in Graphc there are three sub catagories, graphic match, graphic continuity and graphic discontinuity.

Rhythmic:
This considers how long each shot is shown to the audience.

Spatial:
this is used to show the audience how the Mise-en-scene is set out in the music video

Temporal:
this is to do with whether or not the music video follows some sort of order.
